What Is Sky Assault: Code Red?
Sky Assault: Code Red is a military arcade aircraft survival game where you command a powerful combat aircraft against waves of hostile enemy fighters. Your aircraft always faces forward while you move freely across the battlefield in eight directions. Your weapons fire from both wings toward the upper left and upper right, allowing you to attack two directions at once. Enemy aircraft approach from above and can actively fire directly toward your position. Different enemy classes require different amounts of damage before they are destroyed. Collect tactical powerups, survive enemy attacks, improve your score, and defend the airspace for as long as possible.
How to Play Sky Assault: Code Red
Your mission is simple: control the combat aircraft, destroy hostile aircraft, avoid enemy fire, collect powerups, and survive as long as possible. Your aircraft automatically fires two projectiles at once. The left weapon fires diagonally toward the upper left while the right weapon fires diagonally toward the upper right. Your aircraft never rotates, so the nose always faces upward regardless of your movement direction.
On desktop devices, move with the mouse or use the WASD or Arrow Keys. You can move left, right, forward, backward, or diagonally. On touch devices, drag your finger across the battlefield to control the aircraft. The aircraft follows your movement while remaining fully visible above your finger.
Three enemy aircraft classes appear during the mission. Light Fighters are fast and require one successful hit. Assault Fighters are stronger and require three hits before they are destroyed. Heavy Fighters are heavily armored and require five hits. Enemy aircraft actively fire projectiles toward your position. If an enemy aircraft collides with your aircraft or an enemy projectile hits you, your aircraft is destroyed and you lose one Life.
You begin with three Lives. After taking damage, your aircraft receives a short protection period so you have a chance to recover. The mission ends when all Lives are lost. Your High Score is saved locally in your browser.
Four tactical powerups can change the battle. SHIELD gives temporary protection from damage. RAPID FIRE greatly increases your firing speed. TRIPLE SPREAD+ upgrades your normal two-way attack into a wider five-way firing pattern. AIR STRIKE launches a powerful battlefield attack that damages or destroys multiple enemy aircraft at once.
The longer you survive, the greater the threat becomes. Enemy numbers, speed, and attack pressure gradually increase. Keep moving, watch the battlefield, collect useful powerups, and never remain in one position for too long. Use PAUSE whenever you need a break and SOUND to control the game audio. Your objective is to survive the Code Red and become the top defender of the sky.
